ASM mini-g skimmer

well just got my new skimmer in today. Opened it up and no directions. It wasn't hard to get it going. I just don't know how to adjust it. I don't have my sump up and running yet.
first, if you have one did it come with a manual....anything?
second, it has a sliding pipe....how do i know where and how high to adjust it?

Raise the pipe high enough so that the bubbles reach about halfway up the neck of the collection cup. Wait an hour or two then check the skimmer cup. If there's little to no foam in the cup, raise the pipe a bit. If theres a lot of water in the cup lower the pipe. Just keep adjusting it until you get it right. I usually removed a full cup or two of skimmate every week.
