Asm Skimmer Arrived

i got my skimmer yesterday, its a g4x and im right now breaking it in, my foot is there as a size comparison, im a size 13

You will be pleased with the skimmer. I've had mine running for about 8 months and have been very happy with it. Possibly the best skimmer out there for the money.

DB- cant wait to get it started, i so far finished the stand on to hold the sump in the basement, ill have to wait till next week to recieve the sump, but for now im doing all the plumbing i can

I have a ASM G3 and it works GREAT. it did take about 5 days before it started pulling stuff though. but it was a new tank setup and I didn't wash the skimmer out before I started. I now know that many of these skimmers have oil in them from the factory and it takes a few days sometimes for the oil to wash away so the foam can clinge to the inside of the skimmer.
and I will have to disagree with the other poster, the foot is disgusting, way uglier than my foot.
