ATO idea

I have some 5 gallon containers with spigots on them. I was thinking about getting one of the floats below and attaching some airline tubing between the two. would use the float to open the water flow.
any thoughts?

I have these same valves connected to my RO unit. It works great.

does this work simular to to how a toliet fills??? I was thinking about running a water line from the kitchen sick to an RO filter and have it top off my refeg. So can this have a constant water pressure????

basically yes, but like said above, you'd need to have some type of pressure to get the water through to the tank. i'll have my 5 gallon elevated so gravity pulls the water through whenever the float opens.
