Att: Eel keepers

Hey everyone, I am purchasing an eel (zebra moray) for my 150g fowlr (72x18x24). I attached some pictures because I have never had an eel before and I just want to make sure the rockwork will be suitable. I have read that they like to be able to hide their whole body. I know there are spaces where he can hide his whole body from my view but I don't know about the view of other fish. Any suggestions? Do I need to add a pvc pipe or anything like that?
Disclaimer:
Please disregard the wires in the background, in process of redoing some lights. Also the clowns and xenia are going back to the lfs. I am also in process of putting black paper on the back of the tank.
Thanks again for your help!

it looks sufficient u just have 2 make sure the rock is steady u might want to get some aquarium glue and glue them 2gether and the eels do like a pvc pipe but mine just makes its own cave under the rock

Anyone else? Do I have too much rock for a fowlr that will have a lot of big swimmers? I have a sump with bioballs to help with the filtration. Thanks again

WE need more information, how big is your tank? What is your filtration?
Personally I really like lots of rock. Your eel will to.

Is that rock stacked on the bottom of the tank or on top of the substrate? If its on the substrate that will be bad as eels like to burrow into it and could be crushed. Also, that looks like crushed coral and, if so, you need to keep it to about 1" depth so pull a bunch out. The formations themselves appear suitable.

Filtration wise underneath the tank I have a wet dry w/ bioballs plus asm skimmer. The rocks are basically on top of the substrate but the bottom pieces I dug into the sand. Also it is live sand and aragonite. Thanks.
