Attack Clown

Good morning, had to share this story with you...
I noticed this morning that our LTA had moved a bit and turned on its side, so I thought I'd put it back upright. Well when I got my hand close to it, our cute cuddly little perc clown just went nuts and started attacking my hand. It nipped me a couple times, didn't really hurt, startled me more than anything else, but then he went on the offensive and wouldn't let me get even close.
Now THAT was funny. Just out of curiosity, would a perc be able to bite hard enough to leave a mark?? hehe.
I just wanted to share that with you folks this morning.
Beware the cute ones....they're dangerous...hehe

I imagine depending on the sensitivity of your skin they could leave a mark ... lol.. nothing life threatening though.

Update! ... I just saw another thread where Bang had a chunk taken outta his finger by a clown. So I guess it can happen. Still not life threatening though .... unless you develop an infection.

well I'll try not to make a habit it of it. I was able to use the tank scrubber to get the clown away while I moved the LTA. The clown didn't like the scrubber. lol

I had a chunk of my arm taken off by an ocellaris. Nothing major, but then the gangrene set in.

Oh my God! Do a major water change and run carbon ... STAT!

I used Chemipure, but my arm didn't regenerate. I gotta take some lessons from seastars.
