Looking to build a new hood for my 90g. It will include 2 175 mh and 2 110 vhos. I was going to use glass to protect bulbs from any water splashing. Any recommendations as to how thick the glass should be? Any other recommendations before I start building? (I will be using 2 fans as well as provide air slots for proper ventilation)

Just my .02 worth, but i don't like the idea of glass unless you intend to clean it often. but, having said that, it won't take much thickness depending on the airflow to keep it cool. you might want to look at tempered glass.
