Do you run a skimmer and a sump? If you do then you will get plenty of oxygen in the tank from that, also a powerhead directed at the surface should ensure sufficient gas exchange.

No, I dont run a sump. Ill buy a powerhead.

I use a powerhead near the water surface to aerate my tank. There is a small gap between the folding glass panel and the tank, so there is some gas exchange between the air in the tank and the room. My fimbriated could never get out the small slit, so i'm not worried. It works well for me.

I might use my old canister filter for my 125. Ill aslo have a skimmer. Its a meduim sized one that can may help some but the skimmer will do most of it. :cheer:

Surprisingly, theres STILL a 1" domino in there!!! Every time I try to move him to the 55 he eludes me. He hasnt gotten eaten...yet. He gets chased every now and then though.

I was following his every thread cuz I vowed to attack his every move since he proclaimed himself the "agresive expert" (smae spelling, btw) but he changed it, so my task was accomplished. I can say burned wuite well, actually, rolls off of the tongue easily. And, uh, I know a hell of a lot more than this kid, he deosnt even compare. I just spent a good deal of time bugging the crap outta him till hed change the name above his avatar.

Hey Liontammer...You see to know more about Lionfish and aggresive tanks more than anyone else I have meet on this site. I don't mean to highjack it, but i just baught a 55g setup from a buddy that is moving over seas. It has a Dwarf Zebra Lionfish and a Leaf fish(scorpion family) in it. They are doing fine and eating well at my house for the past two days. I was wondering if they would be fine to keep in my new tank and wouldn't get to big. Also, I was wondering if I could add anything else to the tank and if so what would you recommend? Thanks in advance
