Here is a round surface skimmer for your Prism. Blue ring is 1" ID and would hold the down tube of the prism and still allow water to flow thru the skimmer into the intake. Let me know what you think.

so the length of the thing would mean i cut the inlet tube of the skimmer to what? 2"
the 1 1/4" is going to be enough for enough water to flow into the skimmer?

I am not sure about flow. I would cut it to 1 3/4" down from water level. When I get back from vacation I will see if I can whip up a prototype. You can beta test it for me. Sound like a plan?

Here is another pic with the intake tube in place (green). Do you think the spacing will be sufficient to maintain flow?
