Yes a utility pump, some kind of holding tank..I use a 10g under the stand and a tube t run from the pump to the DT. If I plan to leave for a week I fill my 37g plastic can that I use for water changes with RO and put the pump and tube in there...the JBJ is very reliable, I have not had a single problem with it.
I have 3g of evaporation every day.

I use a maxi jet pump for my ATO. Now I have a Reefkeeper system for the controller so that is my ATO unit. Not the cheapest way to go.
