has anyone had this happen to them? i had my rocks set up nice with the mushrooms and corals sitting nicely in there spots but i noticed a few days back two rocks on the floor of the tank whic i dismissed but todayit got bad and rocks fell and i just barelywas able to fix it.
how do you all proof against this?

Yes, this can be a problem, especially in tanks that have larger inverts that move around the tank.
The best thing to do is setup your foundation very well then tie or glue your rocks as you create the rock work. Don't ever lay rocks up against the aquarium glass.

I find that my snails move the rocks around, and knock my corals off their perch. Cowrie snails are especially bad. I have found that building rock is very different than building houses out of playing cards......the rocks need to be stable and able to withstand some shifting and movement. Good luck! :D
