avatar trouble

why does it keep saying tht the max the avatar pic can be is a 10000 bytes or seomthing like tht i resized it and everything.. its such a good pic
any thoughts? how do bring it down to 10000 bytes?

Open the pic up in paint. Almost every comp that has windows has paint. Go to start, then programs, then accessories, then paint. Once you open it in that program go to tools and then stretch/skew. You can size it down from there.

y its good but its too dark ill try to get another picture of mickey.. my dog
i have a apple (mac) so i dont have windows,paint and such

im still getting used to it!
he looks happy huh?

On a Mac you can drag your pic into iPhoto and then export it to any size you please

I tried to lighten it but it doesn't make it look much better.

yes i know aqbout the draging it but its the byte size (the limit is 10000 bytes)
