I have found maybe an awesome deal on a 150g. the dimensions are 48"x24"x31" my question is would I be able to have powder tangs and other fish that need larger tanks in this? I was wondering due to the fact that the tank is only 48in long. I have a 55 that is that long but the width is double. what are your thoughts?

From what I have read, most people on here will not recommend a tang in under a 6 foot tank. Just out of curiousity, how much did you get it for... if you dont mind me asking

$50 the guy really wanted to get rid of it. Its all glass no leaks or chips. I filled it up with water before I left his house because I didn't believe the price.
I wish it could have been pre-drilled but for the price I couldn't let it go.

for some reason that sounds small for a 150....

see that what I though to but if you do the equation for it, it comes to 154 gallons.
That would be a pretty wicked sump my stand would have to be 4 feet high by 2 feet wide! Now thinking about it that doesn't seem to bad!

yes. it's would cost probably 100$ in glass to have baffles cut...but it would be great.
