Baby Black Banded Cat Shark...

Hey All
So, been an interesting few days here at my office... Had a call from a very old friend whom I havn't seen in years and he heard I had a salt water setup(s) in my office... Well, turns out he bought 3 shark eggs in the hope that one of em would hatch. And, as always, all 3 hatched and he simply doesn't have enough room without getting rid of some other fish.
So, he asked if I wanted a FREE Baby Black Banded Cat Shark. Naturally, I said YES and he dropped him off last night.
So, right now I have him in a 75 gallon tank with a Snowflake Eel, Large False Perc Clownfish and a Pufferfish that is in QT and will someday return. I am not too worried about the size of the Shark, since I am upgrading to a 250+ gallon tank in the next couple months.
My problem is simple though, what should I feed this guy!?!?!? Should I feed him bloodwormd/mysis shrimp/reef mix though an eye dropper? Or will he eat whole shrimp?
Anyone with experience/knowledge would be appreciated!
PS: Will post pics later today!

I really hope your upgrade goes through within a year or this is just gonna be another one of those threads but I will give you the benifit of the doubt
. I believe the best thing to get a pup to eat is mysis shrimp but that is just what I have learned doing some research, it is worth a try no matter what though so i'd try that, it is very hard to get them to start eating but once you do it should
get better.

As stated previously, shrimp is ok. Other good frozen foods are squid, krill, small silversides, shark formula. However the best way to start is with live foods, such as ghost shrimp and brine.
BTW, puffers are really not appropriate tankmates for sharks.

I actually got word that the actual tank will be ready this week. (Can't wait to see ho big it is.) A local glass place is making it for me since they have already done some nice tanks for other people and they have been really pleased. I hope to have it in my new home in 3-4 months and ready for fish in 6 months. (My carpenters had a job fall through so they should soon be able to start the house!
)
Thanks for the advice though, I got him to eat a little blood worm today with an eye dropper. Hoping it will get better and upgrade to larger food soon.

Hey I kept a leopard sharks years ago and by summer I will be getting a coral catshark or stingray if I cant find one. Puffers will pick at the eyes and fins of your shark, so get that out of there. I have seen eyeless sharks thanks to puffers. What my leopard shark liked was cocktail shrimp from the grocery store; if your shark is too small to eat a whole one cut it into chunks. Also look into getting ocean nutrients shark/ray formula its got all the stuff in there that a growing shark needs.

OK, tonight I put about 3 grams of mysis shrimp in front of him with an eye dropper. I think he are a couple specs of it, but that was it. Then I tried laying a small chink of silverside under his mouth. He sat there for 5 minutes and never touched it...
How often a day should I be trying to feed this guy?

You can do everyday when young then when he gets older bring feedings down to 3 times a week.

when were they hatched? Sometimes they can take over a week to eat as they are still feeding on the leftovers of the egg sack. If they hatched in the past few days then you have nothing to worry about. Also dont beat yourself up over if it doesnt survive. The odds are against you. DO NOT add that puffer to your tank. Take it back to your LFS.
