Baby brittle star

I saw two baby brittle stars (looked green) last night. They are VERY small, 2 cm legs and all with a body of about 2 mm. Any chance they will grow up or are they for the most part just food?

They are probably adult mini-brittle stars. If conditions are right they should be able to reproduce and you'll have more.
