"Baby" Clams have been eaten

I bought 2 "Baby" clams last weekend. My wife called while I was out of town this week and told me that something had eaten one of them (Wednesday). I came home today (Thursday) and the other was gone as well. What gives? The only things in my reef tank are:
5 Pepermint Shrimp
2 Fire Shrimp
2 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Coral Banded Shrimp
3 Serpent Starfish
4 Emerald Crabs
2 Queen Conchs
4 Green Chromis
1 Lawnmower Blenny
And several assorted snails and Blue and Red Legged Crabs
In your opinion, what should I get rid of since my wife loves Clams.
Thanks for your help
Ken

If they died from anything like starvation then any of the animals listed could have eaten the remains. I don't see anything in your list that would eat a healthy clam.

when you say "baby" - how small?
Did the source that sold them to you explain their needs? - ie: heavy phytoplankton feedings.

Yeah, the "very clean" shells are still there.
They were about 1 1/2 inches long, and yes I was dosing phytoplankton.

emerald crabs can be evil. i saw one cut a cleaner shrimp in half while it was making out with another cleaner shrimp cause they got to close to it in their excitement
