i looked in my 125 tank and saw probably 100 or more baby shrimp! i pulled as many as i could thinking my fish would eat them. i put them in a seperate tank 10 gallon, but am not sure what to do. i am afraid to start a filter because they are so small they would get sucked up possibly in there kiling them. thats another reason i pulled them from main tank. also scared to start powerhead for fear it will suck them up and toss them around. not sure what to do. should they have stayed with their mom and dad shrimp?? was it goo didea to move them?? i have a peppermint and two cleaner shrimp in main tank. i am guessing they are from the cleaners but not 100% sure. any help is appreciated!! the sooner the better. email me at adavenport3@verizon.net or post here please!!!!!!!!! thanks ahead of time fror help!

I take it you dont need 100 more shrimp in there. Ask your LFS if they want to buy them.
Or give/trade/sell them here. Last option treat your fish to some live food.

yeah i want to try to keep them alive right now not turn them into food. not sure if the mom/dad shrimp will eat them or if i should remove the fish and keep them in there. as of today. i see no shrimp in main tank...so either they are eatin already or hiding. as for the ones i moved into smaller tank. they are alive but not sure how long they will live in those conditions. again any help is appreciated. i am aware i can sell them, but just trying to keep them alive right now.
