Ph will Drop every day while you are gone on vacation, a ph of 7.5 is real bad, when i had my tank going for 2 months i left for 2 days came back and the ph droped from 8.4 to 7.5, and some crabs were dead and fish had ick, i later decided to use a home made pcv pipe 3" wide x 12" long caped the ends,used air line and valve for drip control and <slowy> drip "kalkwasser", "super buffer" or "purple up" into the tank while im gone to keep the ph constant while away.
