"Bad Anenome"???

I got a rock from LFS and in between my zoas and kenya tree is a clear/white anenome. I've been told that this is a bad anenome? Ok...What is the safest way to get rid of these? Considering its right between two corals? Before they take over the tank...(as i've been told they like to do that)

Aptiasa-x, Joe's juice, lemon juice, kalk paste. I prefer boiling water injected in it's mouth with a needleless syringe!

I will try the boiling water technique....thanks.. and when you say lemon juice is that just regular lemon juice from grocery store?

Just regular old lemon juice. I like to heat up the lemon juice. It doesnt always work the first time. Sometimes you go through the body or just miss.

Oh well, next time try to get us a pic. There is a section on this site for identification of hitch-hikers that come in on liverock, coral, or fish that you introduce into your tank. If you get something else you're not sure about, get us a pic and throw it into that section for us to look at :)

sure will....thx. Got a little coral I didn't know I had when I turned the rock around to get the so called "bad anenome"! need to get that identified and also some little thing that looks like a "cottonball" I'm assuming is a coral. I will get pics tomorrow and post. Stop by that forum, maybe you can help.....
