Well, I bought a Visi-Jet Skimmer, because I was low on cash. The worst choice ever. All it does is suck water out of the tank. It isn't even skimming! Does anyone have a Coralife skimmer? Is it decent?

i have a coralife....it is ok but i am thinking about getting up the nerve to mesh mod it to make it more efficent

if you get a seaclone you might as well be getting a nother visi...lol....i have the coralife 125 and it is hard to tweak the skimming but if you can get it right it skims great but it changes with the water level in my sump...although i will say i have had more problems trying to get the SS to skim properly

imo the SS is weak.. it "was" one of the better one's for the price range but no longer.. you can get the octo 200 for under under $220 or somthing like that shiped to your door... so far.. octo skimmers are the best bang for the buck... they are not the best to say.. but they are up there with the big boys.. at 1/2 the price...

Oh, I forgot to mention what size tank I have, I have a 25 long.

the coralife ss will flood your floor. it works best as an in sump filter not an hob.
