there is these tiny things that look like bad mitten birdies in my aquarium. they swim like jellyfish and they stick to the walls 'feather side' on the wall. there 'feather side' of the 'birdies' have tentacle looking things coming off of it and there is more of these birdie looking things then there was originally. i will get a video of some soon but i lost my mini-video camera

are they actually jellyfish or some sort of wierd creature? there not hurting anything from what i can see there just worrying me.

Ive had them before. Hydroid jellies. No need to worry, mine showed up and it took them about 2 weeks for them to filter out. Nothing you can do to get em out faster, just let em die off over time.
The worst damage they could do would be land on the side of a fish and give it a teenie tiny sting, but nothing to threaten its health significantly.

Whaaaa? I've never heard of hitch-hiking jellies. They come in on the rock or something?? Fascinating, lol

so...if someone were to say...want to make a 5 gallon or 2.5 gallon environment for hydroid jellies what do you think a good setup would be

there just so cute and awesome. i had an aitasia as a pet once...it was the first one that appeared. i like wierd hitchikers, and these are awesome!

Its not a competitor so I think you may be ok. Honestly I have no idea what lengths you would have to go to in order to raise jellies that are about 1/16th of an inch long
