baffle material

I am buying a 29g tank today to make my fuge. Question is, what material do I use to make the baffle's?
Glass or Plexi Glass?
Other question, how tall do I make the baffles? A 29 gallon is 18.75 inches tall.
I will have the skimmer on the left, return pump in the middle and refugium on the right.
I calculated a 16.25 inch tall baffle will give me 4 gallons of over flow space in the top area. This one will divide the refugium from the return pump section.
The 3 bubble baffle's dividing the skimmer and return pump section will probably be 7 inches tall each with a 1 inch space open bottom for the middle baffle spaced 1 inch apart from each other. So the middle baffle will actually stand 8 inches tall.
Does this sound like I have it figured out correctly???
Last question.
A 29 gallon tank is 30.25 inches in length. How large do I make each chamber?
I will most likely use a Mag 7 return pump. I will probably buy a Kent Nautalis TE skimmer or a Berlin Skimmer.
How long should the skimmer chamber be?
How long should the return pump chamber be?
How long should the refugium chamber be?
Thanks for any advise and thanks for answering my other questions that has gotten me up to this point.

Just from personal experience with the kent te....you'll need atleast 12" square area with the pump and all for that skimmer, if you'd like I'll post a pic to show you how I plumbed it in with pvc, cost like $4 for all the parts.
