Baffled about nitrates

Got another newbe nitrate question I guess,BUt i'm gonna ask any way. The problem i'm having is getting my nitrates to drop on down,it stays between 10 and 20 ppm and i'm out of ideas to bring it own down. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks. BTW its a 30gal.FOWLR Here are the levels,,if it helps Ammonia-0 Nitrite-0 Nitrate- the trouble -20 SG -1.022 PH-8.3 Temp-76 Have 30lbs live sand,20lbs live rock ( planing on adding another 10lbs later), running 2 emp.400's and a seaclone 100 skimmer. Have 1 yellowtail damsiel, 1 Sebae Clown, and 8 little blue leg hermits. P,S I would like to add some shrimp of some sort but not sure on checking iodine levels to make sure there right Alot to ask I know,,,but any input would be appreciated.

One other thing I've only been feeding every other day and making sure there are no left overs Plus I only use RO/DI water from wal-mart

I have been changing 10 gal every week,,,every friday night like clock work
