bamboo shark survival rate

How likely is a newly aquired bamboo shark to survive? I'm just wondering because I got a 6" one two weeks ago and he started eating the day after I got him and is doing great now.

You are very lucky if it started eating from day one. Sounds like as long as you keep his tank conditions optimal you are going to have a healthy bamboo for a long time.

jim is he in your 37 gallon tank? That is to small, when are you upgrading?, hope it's pretty soon.
