i guess its about an inch im thinking about buying the other one my LFS had that was black with yellow stripes. does anyone know how these to wrasses would react to one another? they are both possum wrasses just wondering if they'd get along?

Well, in general NEVER put two wrasses in the same tank, Im saying this with experiance, in a matter of an hour one of them is going to end up dead. Ive tried two times and dont want to try again.

My LSF has 2 different types of Fairy Wrasses in their display tank and there seem to be no problems. The Possum wrasse is a really docile wrasse...they had several in one tank...so I don't think it would be a problem. But have an alternate plan if something does happen and watch them closely for the first few hours! Good luck and take pictures

There are many wrasses that can be kept together. The fairies and possum wrasse are two that can. Some will actually school, so I would not say never. Problems with agression are common with the six and eight lines, which is what most people have. I would watch ANY new addition no matter what species, as all present tank mates will have their own territorries.
