Bang Guy Or Whoever Has Or Had Eggs Look!

ok i think i have eggs on the way my male keeps going over a spot that is really smooth going back and forth on it is he cleaning it he wont leave it and before he started cleaning sand with the female will i be having eggs soon?

Take a closer look, he could be just simply fanning....nothing or maybe something.

Mine have done that forever. Like Thomas said, it could mean something or it could mean nothing. You'll just have to wait and see.

Normaly they both ( mine ) will clean a spot for a few days useing their mouth, biteing at the area near the host for protection. Then they take turns passing over as the FM lays down eggs and the M fertilizes them. Then the male stays close fanning ect. as the female patroles the parimaters looking for invaders. Day one. aaaahhh

It's definately breeding behavior. That doesn't mean they are going to breed but this is usually the first step.

Mine do the same thing clown123, I have never seen eggs though, my male will also shake infront of the female.
Is it normal for the female to be alot bigger than the male?
Also how many inches long will a female ocellaris get?

dogstar i love ur pair therer so nice! as for u debbie the ocelaris i think get like 2 1/2 -4in and yes its normal for the male to be smaller.
