Hey guys, what kind of camera do you shoot all those great pics with. I am sure I am not the only one who wants to know. Photography is one of my big hobbies but I have never been able to regularly take any satisfactory pics of my tank. Any help with that too?

Professional my butt. :D
Guy has some of the most amazing images I have ever seen.....I love his photos, plain and simple.
Personally, I have been successful shooting fishies with standard film SLR cameras, low-end digital cameras, and high-end digital SLRs. I currently have the most fun shooting pics of the tank with my Nikon D100 Digital SLR with various lenses and flashes. The Nikon N75, N80, and F100 seem to do the trick too though. ;)
Thanks for the compliment! :)

When I grow up I want a Digital SLR. I have some great lenses from my Pentax but no way to use them on my Kodak :(

Hey guys, I saw this thread and had a quick question for Ryebread as well -
I'm looking at a Nikon Coolpix 5000 (used) for 550 - I used to have a Nikon a few years ago for my dive camera, and had no complaints, but have not played with their digitals at all - are they as good of quality as the 35mm? Also is this a pretty good deal on it? The guy is throwing in an extra battery, a case, and a few other accessories, I have been doing some searching and think its not too bad of a deal but would love to know what a camera person thinks.
Thanks for any advice.
