if you get a juvenile sweetlips, make sure they are eating first...good luck on your shark...we decided to start w/ the egg 1st, but it died possibly due to water top off procedure or necessesity to be physically removed from the egg...seem to be in season again & got lucky enough to find a nearby LFS that had the eggs for $25  this embryo is fairly young this time around w/ no eyes yet even...giving it more curent this time too...some eels seem to do well enough w/ sharks...I have heard triggers might try to take bites at it...

My bamboo baby just hatched about 2 weeks ago. You could barley see him in the egg when I bought him. I also saw at a LFS an egg for $19...

My shark turns a year old in a few days. It hatched from an egg about a month after I got it. He is about to outgrow the tank and it's gonna kill me to give him up.

Mr-Wrass I know how you feel about giving up your shark. They are almost like kids. They are awesome. How big is he I grew mine in about 1 1/2 years to about 30" I got rid of him because he was getting to big for my tank. But I gave it to a friend so i was able to see it all the time. What size tank do you have it in.

I had my shark egg for a good 3-4 months prior to it hatching.. Like I said, I could barely see the little guy when I bought him.. I actually had him in my 55g reef while my 150g cycled.. Placement of the egg didn't seem to matter.. He hatched during the day and yes the yolk was attached when he was born. It quickly went away, which leads me to my question.. He is now 2 weeks old, when and what do I try to feed him?????????? Oh yeah I have 2 magnum 350's and a 10g refugium. Also about 3-4 inches of pure aragonitefor substrate
