Bare Bottom or With Sand

I'm gonna be upgrading my tank to a 300 gallon I was thinking what would be best bare bottom tank or with sand? It will have liverock for sure but I dunno if its best to go with sand or not what do you guys think?

Sand. I've never seen a bare bottom saltwater tank...

Sand all the way! I have seen several bare bottom tanks, they don't looks that nice and natural as a tank with sand. Plus sand is a natural filter.

I like sand, plus it gives places for some of the fish and inverts to hide. Not including all of the life it has in it,,,

You have to clean up the bottom in a bare bottom, besides is the ocean glass bottom

I like bare bottoms, just not in aquariums!
