Barry Bonds has been fantastic for baseball.
Having a federal committee investigate steroids in baseball is beyond ridiculous.
Why would he attend a ceremony where people have made it clear that he isn't wanted? If I were him I'd worry about an attempt on his life because that's how absurd the anti-Barry Bonds zealotry has become.
It's a ball you hit with a stick. No matter what emotions or symbolism you attach to it, it's not worth getting so upset about.

I know exactly what I'm talking about - read between the lines. It just some of you admire a player that can't break a HR record without using steroids. Granted it is "alleged use" but the guy is still an idiot. Barry Bonds HR record will have an " * " next to his stats.
