base rock

if i get liverock from the beach and spray it with freshwater and kill everything on it and dry it will it be good baserock(go to greece summer and i dont feel like curing it) ????

I'm not too sure on that one. One alternative to look into for base rock is called arago-crete or something like that. It basically is when you make your own rocks out of concrete and sand.

I have seen a tank with it in there and I can dare you to pic out what one in a pic line up it looks like the real deal.
