snailheave, thanks for your interest in trying to help me, very much appreciated. The 10 gal nano will have to stay as is for now. Hubby just got word today that they could be in for a layoff from work for a few weeks. Everything is fine in my nano, fish are happy I am happy so I will be leaving it for the time being. Hey it has been going for the past 1 1/2 yrs so I must be doing something right.
