i have my tank in my room about 3 feet away from my new jl audio w 6's (oh my gosh) currently connected to my 450w amp. i have a pretty shy 3 stripe damsel and he usually hides or stays in his little cave but when a song with tons of bass comes on he swims around more and looks ALOT happier i guess. is this because he is freakin out or is it because he likes my taste in music? my other fish doesn't even notice the bass i guess.

:jumping: I moved my house system away from my sw tank because it seemed like it freaked out my fish. But I don't know, they maybe don't mind, but I don't want to take the chance stressing them out. When the bass hit there would be ripples across the top of the water. :jumping:

Water carries sound waves very very well, if the room is loud your tank will be too, but I just realized I dont even know for sure if fish have ears! I guess they do, like when they freak out if you tap on the glass or something
