A friends son caught a beaded star at the beach today and I couldn't find any info on them. Anybody got any info on keeping them in tanks, how big they get, are they predators or scavengers? Thanks in advance

The various stars in Florida have a variety of feeding habits - some highly predatory, and others may likely starve.
Can you also post specifics about your tank, including size, age, amount of LR, inhabitants, and water parameters?
Seastars are some of the most delicate animals we try and keep, and often our tanks are not suitable to house them long term.
