I knew there were other gardeners out there....very nice plots there you two!!
I've also got a sweet lil xenia garden but getting a good pic of them is difficult. They sit top of the reef in a strong current....constantly pulsing and swaying....just can't get a pic of 'em thats decent!Plus there are two sperate lil yellow polyp gardens that are nice for covering up bare areas of the reef....ain't aquatic gardening fun...or is it more farming than gardening?

Nice gardens everyone:) I have a question, may be silly, but here it is. I have my mushrooms all over the tank, is it better to keep them all together?

Yeah, those red ones are beautiful. You know Oklahoma isn't very far from NM. You could send some over for my garden:D

My red shrooms have really started to spread...I have a total of 8 currently...but I've never trid to frag or seperate them for trade. They are all attached to the LR and I'd need to devise a way to get them on some rubble for transport. But who knows in time I may offer some up for trade....and wrassecal there is a decent chance I may be traveling thru your neck of the woods later this summer. Me and the family may take a lil trip to Branson and Southeast Missouri around the 8th of July.;)
Just to tease I've also got some beautiful blue shrooms that are starting to thrive....alrady have 2 new additions and they appear to be ready to makes new lil 'uns! So maybe a blue/red shroom package some time in the future!!:D

Very nice NM..How long have you had the Alveopora? It is a difficult coral to keep being in the same family as Goniopora. Here's my section of ricordia garden:

Great addition to a garden theme steveweast!!! I've seen that plot a few times ... always nice to see it again!!
The alveopora in the pic is close to 9-10 months old and growing! It started with 3 heads(it is a branching type) and now has 8-9 heads total. One origional head was fragged and returned to the place I bought it from. From day one this coral has been hardy and in great condition. I hope to see it continue to thrive. I also keep an encrusting type that has severly suffered since adding my sump/skimmer several months ago. It has started to recover but the verdict is still out on that one.

It's always great to hear a success story with Alveoporas and Gonioporas...they seem to only get bad press...keep up the great work.

For real, that would be cool. We live just off I35 in Norman. It would actually be very nice to meet you and your family.
