The pics aren't that great but i finally added the 4 new pieces on Friday.
Please give some feedback and comments.
Any new coral additions or recommendations would be great too.

Yeah, it took me an hour just to arrange the rocks and had to make a decision so i stopped obsessinig (sp). i could have had alot more caves but didn't want to take the 7 pieces out of the sand bed and disrupt the DSB. What is the most annoying is the lighting, i can't seem to reduce the shadowing, especially where the center brace is. It is so noticiable, i can't stand it. Oh well.
I really just need to leave things alone from now on, the corals are irritated and my few sps corals are not doing as well as i planned. I really want to stock up now with the sps corals but don't know if my tanks stable enough yet after moving all the rocks and moving them around so much.

You sure that's live rock you added or am I not seeing the right thing? No criticizing here and if you tell me your setup (aka lights..though looks like you have halides) I will make suggestions
I love the setup BTW ...so clean  jealous face! Also, what did your sand that way? Power heads or fish or something else? I am also thinking about tinkering with my tank and I finally think I have some things to do. The key for me is finding the right rock that will work.

What do you mean? what do you think it is? the rock is white compared to the others covered in coraline. 2 of the pieces are over 25lbs. the other 2 are over 15lbs. there BIG.
Yes i have mh, 650 watts of mh and 130 watts of pcs. i just can't get them adjusted to eliminate some shadowing.
As far as the sand goes, i have 2-1" pvc pipes going behind the rocks along the back of the tank blowing to the front through the rocks. since i moved the rocks around, it did create some sand movement. I don't like it but can't do anything about it, its a DSB obviously and don't want to disturb it anymore than i have to.

I just did that today and replaced the background that came with the tank. The blue is better. It made it a bit lighter in the tank than the printed reef with the deep background behing it.

I was referring to the white rock. I guess I am used to seeing live rock sold at my LFS store with a lot of corraline growth already on them. I wouldn't change the setup to "fix" the sand gullys. I have had some due to fish a pistol shrimp and I leave them. I don't know, sometimes I find it more natural. I run a DSB also, so I also don't want to mess with it too much. Anyway, the tank is looking great.
And some of my suggestions:
Bullseye mushrooms
Montipora
Blastos
Acan lords
Toadstool
Trumpet coral
Oxypora
Brains
...
I'm biased becasue those are some of the things (except blastos) in my tank.

I don't care for the blue back, or any back for that matter.
I have a custom fit mirror on the back; It is the best thing i've ever done. Its more natural and you can see everything behind the tank. Plus, the light reflects more and is brighter.
thanks for the idea though.

That's what's different about that tank, I didn't catch it. Very nice.
