i am looking in to adding a few corals to my tank in the next 6 to 7 months and i was wondering what i could have with my current lighting. I have a 55 gallon tank w/ a 48 in. PC including 2 55watt 5050 bulbs. Please advise on what corals would be happy with this lighting. thanks

You only have about 2 watts per gallon right now. When I had the same amount of light, I had plenty of luck with green ployps, green star polyps (which may need more light) and different shrooms. I have kept a couple Ricordias under that amount of light for quite a while. Go to you lfs and look up low light corals in a coral book. They all have em.

Is the acclimating procedure of these corals the same as fish? and what are the best places to put them in my tank.
