i have a 30 gal with a 1.5 inch blue damsel and a 2 inch ocelarris
a) why does the damsel feel he has to be around the ocellaris all the time?
b) why is my ocellaris so aggressive?
any idea?
thanks!

is the ocellaris aggressive towards you or the damsel? i would get rid of the damsel since they are pesky to other fish. also are you sure it's not a a percula, those are prone to being slightly more aggressive. my ocellaris clowns attack my hand when im messing with the tank....lol. oh I would also add another clown, usually they like to be paired up.

they are both aggressive fish. we had our damsel in the tank first, and then added the clownfish. it was like a war ground. our clown's fins had pieces missing in parts. it took about a week and they both relaxed and became used to each other. they have been in the tank together for a year now, and no problems.
