benefit of anemone crabs?

Sorry I cant answer the Q, but If I may pose a question... would it bother my clown to get an anemone crab if the anemone I have is being hosted by it

Are you saying the emerald crab wouldent pose a problem to the anemone crab because the anemone crab was protected by an anemone? What if there wasent an anemone, would they fight? it looks to me like emeralds are bigger and have bigger claws than anemone crabs.

I have two maroons that share a gbta with an anemone crab. They do not bother each other ar all. They will peacefully co-exist in the anemone. The crab WILL NOT chase the clowns out of the anemone. The emeralds and anemone crab will be fine together.

I have two maroons that share a gbta with an anemone crab. They do not bother each other ar all. They will peacefully co-exist in the anemone. The crab WILL NOT chase the clowns out of the anemone. The emeralds and anemone crab will be fine together.

EEh, not a GOOD idea, personally from my experiences, teh crab will NOT be happy as teh clowns usually will chase it away, and teh fighting may cause harm. Not a good idea

I have to agree. We have 2 maroons that live in a gbta. We bought a sebae with an anemone crab and within a week, the crab left the sebae to live in the gbta. The clowns don't bother him at all. He used to be out in view on the anemone a lot but these last few weeks, he's been staying underneath the bta. I should say that our maroons haven't displayed any aggression outside of chasing the other fish that get super close to the bta.
