Benggai Breeding Question

Hi I just joined saltwaterfish.com and found that alot of people (especialy Bang Guy) and was wondering how can I tell if I have a pair or if its two of the same gender?
Also how would I know if it had babies.

Welcome to the board!!
It's very difficult to know the gender of Banggai. Once they mature, males will not stay near each other. Often females can stay together but not always. If you have a male & female they will usually stay near each other, even when feeding.
The male protects fertilized eggs in his mouth so if you don't see him eat and it looks like he has a mouthful of something then he's probably carrying eggs.
