Berlin Skimmer...

I have a red sea berlin tri-pass skimmer with a Rio-2100 pump
my problem is that it does not foam in the collection cup does anybody know how to adjust the venturi or what do I need to do to make it work right im wondering can it be my air pump,the rio,or what?
I need help :confused:

I have a berlin. I use a Mag 9 on it. I tried the RIO but it just isn't strong enough. A friend of mine has a Berlin HOB and uses a Mag 7 and it does pretty good. But I think the 9 does better.

The Rio most often used with the berlin is the 2500, not the 2100. I might suggest the mag 7 or 9 as well, one of those I will be switching to in the near future.

i've got the turbo classic but i'm running it with the pump it came with. a friend of mine bought the same skimmer used without a pump and was running a mag 7 on it and it worked fine. i think a mag 9 would be better though if you can afford it. not much of a price difference really.

I HATE RIO PUMP-I LIKE MAG PUMPS-Don't know much about your problem though, other than Mag is a much better quality pump.:)
