when my t5`s need replacing I would like to go with an all in one halide fixture with actinics and moonlights.
the 2x175 watt coralife aqualight pro looks nice but would 2x96 watt pc actinics look as nice as 2x 56 watt t5 actinics?
any opinions on this or other halide fixtures?
my tank is 24x24x48 125 gallon.

The Coralifes are really nice units, and I'm not an all in one unit, and I spend most of my free time checking these things out......Have you seen 1 in action......I've seen the 48" HQI Coralife system handle a tank 30" deep with clams on the bottom......really nice!!!!!!

had a coralife pc lunar aqualight and found it cheaply made, fans vibrated etc.
hopefully the halide unit is better built.

$1100.00 is way expensive for what your getting.......The Coralife light setup can't even touch my 250's with Lumenarc reflectors with IceCap moonlights, an IceCap VHO's.....and didn't spend that much to put the lighting together for my system........Email me @shwncbb@verizon.net

I agree, that`s a lot of money if there are cheap parts to it,
I have and love my open top tank, only problem is I use 4x56 watt t5`s with seperate reflectoes that lie across the tank top and It`s hard to find moonlites that don`t need to go in a canopy or all in one fixture.
