I am wanting something colored like a rose bta or a green bta but I am wanting to get an anemone that I will injoy as much as my maroon will. After research I have been told about three diff. anemones that will work, But I am wanting the best one for my girl. Any help in this delima will be greatly app.

The best anemone for a Maroon Clown is, as the name suggests, the Maroon Anemone, AKA Ritteri (Heteractis magnifica).

Sorry it took me so long to get back on here. Great pics I still have not got an anemone. I am wanting to get another maroon first. I've did alot of studing on the pairing of maroons and want to give it a try. I will watch closely and if any danger of either one being injured I will move one to my other tank. My other clown should be here Thursday from the LFS. I like the idea of multiple amemones like fishy7 said but now I want to know if I can put a maroon anemone with a bubble tip anemone or do I need to just go with different colors of BTA's
Thank you everyone for all the post, with out this site I would of never tried to go salt and now I just don't know what to do with out it.

That is not a BTA, it's an LTA. Considering the price difference, I'd be mad at the lfs that sold me that as a BTA.

after reading about the care of the marroon anemone I dont think that I want to try my luck with one yet. Ive got a condy in my 55g and I like to watch him eat and then I found out that you can feed a BTA but not a maroon. from what I've read, it will harm them if you supliment feed them silver sides or other meaty treats. Any other info on this.
have a good one and thanks for all the advise.
life savers all of you.
