This fish has been in my tank for a week or so (?). I was told he is a cigar wrasse. I can find no info on a fish that looks like him
so I can't really vouch for the name.
I told my LFS I want a wrasse and he has been trying to get in one that I will take (I don't like sixlines, and won't own a cleaner). It's been two months. I went in and he said I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU. We walk to a tank that is housing hermies and a sally, he puts his finger in the sand and moves it around (for five or ten seconds) until out pops this beauty!
Sorry, long story short..He eats bristleworms, I've seen it with my own eyes. I know the sand is free of them, BUT GET THIS!! Twice today, he has picked a bristleworm, once out of a rock, once out of an empty hermie shell. He takes it to a rock, bashes it once, twice, three times, then eats it. I kid you not.
He is my hero. And I highly recommend this fish.
BTW, almost impossible to get a photo of.
