Best External Skimmer?

I have very little space in my sump..I want to maybe go external skimmer. What is a good, relatively cheap(350$ or less) thats good on my 120g(really 160g including sump). Thanks

By external do you mean a HOB model or one that sits next to the sump with a pump in the sump?

Next to sump...there's limited space in sump.

+1......I have an XP2000 external on my 225G.....I love it....and it works like a beast....BUT you will never be able to touch anything like this for $350
in this hobby, you get what you pay for

I agree with SRO XP 2000-3000 ext it's a beast
You might find one used in Reefcentral for 350

1 of the original beasts!!!!!!!! Even if you look at the Reeflo skimmers, which are all but the same IMO used; they still fetch $600 easily.......

I have a Reeflo orca with dart gold it's great but I want to try xp 8000 later on see if its more energy efficient or worst
Even though my dart gold only uses 130 watts.
