Hi guys...I need help! I need to change my aquarium filter since my Magnum 350 doesn't work properly anymore.
I have a 20G reef tank...what do you guys recommend?
I am looking for something good, easy to use (I hated the Magnum) and relatively cheap.

Thanks

more live rock is the best filter IMO. that and increased water changes.
but if you want equipment then yes canisters are pretty good.

You might look into setting up a sump with a refugium, it would be far easier to maintain than a canister and much more effective filter.

Live rock good flow and a HOB with some filter floss, of course a sump/fuge is the way to go if you have the money/room

we have a penguin and it works really good. we've had it for about 5 and half years. it works great for us we are using it in our 45 gallon. we even used it on our 55g when we had it up and goin a few years back. we got ours at our lfs. wasnt too badly priced either dont remember how much we paid but it wasnt that much.
