Best Home in Sink RO/DI system.

I'm in the process of buying an RO/DI system or maybe just RO system for my house, according to my wife.............for the tank according to me.
Anyone have any good experiences with any systems you can buy in the stores like any of the big box stores or other home stores.
I'm looking to spend around $200 to $300 dollars.

ive seen some ro systems at the hardware stores but rodi sytems are not nery popular for drinking systems because they produce such clean water its striped of all vitamens and minarels. you could build a system that had the sed carbon and ro membrane before the pressureized storage tank and then have your di canister afterfor you fish tank

Do you have to have the DI part in order to keep corals or is the RO good enough.

ro water is fine but rodi is cleaner and more pure. I myself want the best water so my tank has a better chance but there are many people using ro

DI is a necessity - a RO membrane will allow nitrates, phosphates, ammonia, copper, etc. to pass through into the final product. DI filters out what the RO doesn't and you need it.

I just ordered one from airwaterice, It has the option to add the tank and faucet later if I want, it was 180$ with shipping. It was the compact III.

Dear friend, I've just purchased an RO/DI unit for $100 from off e--- ,there are even some on e--- for as low as $65 . By the way ,they also come with a years warranty . My unit does 110 gallons per day .

I have to admit that my water tastes as good as Aquafina
(that is the purest manufactured water gaurenteed)

I have the Typhoon III by AWI.. bought the extra drinking water kit (tank and faucet) Tastes Better than Aquafina
i think all was around $230. I hav everything under my kitchen sink, still have room for other stuff including a disposal.
