Best Kind of Hermit Crab?

I like the blue-legs and the scarlet reef hermits. However, when my scarlet reef hermits grow, they seem to become clumsy. My biggest one is constantly climbing to the highest points of the tank (on my LR), only to come crashing down soon after, usually causing a small avalanche of coral frags

Funny to watch, but annoying to fix.

You might want to consider which one is the most aggressive. The blue-legged are more aggressive than most, but the red-legged are one of the least, imo. I've heard scarlet are also one of the least as well.

Thanks for the Avatar comment, But I just found this one on the internet and just liked it. I did submit it though(It didn't get entered in the contest though, because I couldn't give them the rights to use it). I do hope that my Cleaner will clean my Clown like that when I get them.

When you add hermits add them slowly. Put five or so in and give them a week, then if you want add some more untill you get the desired effect,I.E algae control, or extra food consumption. I would go with scarlett hermits. I have both blue and scarlets and the scarlets are much nicer and a lot better looking. I would worry about putting more than 15 in your tank.
