Unfortunately the days of listening to music while walking to class are long since gone for me - I need 1 device for everything and the only time music becomes a factor is when I plug my iPhone into the car stereo. I happen to need internet access because I need access to OWA at all times. So like I said before, it comes down to what you need/want.
Everyone has their own choice, and since there are hundreds of mp3 players to choose from it wasn't very likely that you could get 2 people to agree on one.
I must say that I've never seen anyone defend their choice in an mp3 player like yourself - I sincerely hope that you finally get one.
I have wanted one of these things for years and when I finally got to test one out I knew I had to get one. I try to stay behind all the high tech fads like internet access on phones and especially text messages...I can't even begin to tell you how much I hate those things. The only exception would be an mp3 player because I am a music-a-holic. I can't stand not having music with me. Thats why audio quality is so important to me. Apple has always been a bad company to me and that will never change. I have used macs and iPods enough to know that I don't like them. I also hate the fact that to buy a mac with the same capabilities as my pc it would be a ridiculous price. Not to mention that they have their own special way of programming and building their computers so that its hard to upgrade any of the hardware. Where as you can replace just about anything in a pc
yo juice, i am very interested in buying a 605. could you tell me a little bit more about the "plug ins", like what you have to buy in order to have a web browser, and what you have to buy to have it basically be a dvr? thanks.
You have to buy the dock for the DVR capabilities. I think they are around $100 unless you can find one on the

site. As far as the web browser I haven't looked into it because I don't want that option. It says it has Wifi though so I would assume you just need to pay for the subscription. From the looks of it its $30 for the web browser plugin and it doesn't mention anything about a subscription but I don't know.... Like I said I don't need/want it
