best nano?

I also thought it was on a hinge, but mine isn't either. I went and bought a koralia 1 and I'm adding a nano koralia as well. I think for 29g you need a 100w. I bought a Rena 100w and it works perfect and fits perfect in the 1st chamber in the back.
About the test kit, I got an api salt water fish and a reef master kit from my LFS. Anyone else knows if this is a good one? Or should I get a different one?

the 29 biocube is an excellent choice. It doesnt come with a hinge, and that was one reason why i didnt get it, but if that doesnt bother you, you made a great choice.
I am currently using the API test kits, and both are working great for me. They matched my LFS test results. There are a couple other brands people recommend but you cant beat the price and usually accurate results of the api.

I buy my RO water from the LFS. You can make your own RO water using an RO kit that you connect up to your faucet. Some stores such as Walmart and even some grocery stores sell RO water as well.

The one over at the grocery store here has it in one of the aisles. I think the walmart has it up front. Its a big machine, kinda looks like a soda vending machine, that you stick your jug in and fills it up.
Some people use bottle water as an alternative but im not sure how safe that is. I dont want to give you my opinion on it since im not sure. hopefully someone else will chime in.

I used water from my LFS for now. I haven't seen anything like that at any grocery store around here either. Gotta start hunting for them. A friend of mine has been using salt water from a ***** store, that comes in a bag, in a box. It's like $11 for 5 gallons. He said I could use that kind, but seems a bit expensive to me

RO water around here is $.29 cent a gallon and premixed saltwater is $.99 cents a gallon.
If you plan on mixing your saltwater, buy your salt in bulk, usually a big bucket as that will save you money in the long run. Keep an eye out for deals, if you look hard you will find them.

probably. Google RO filter to get an idea of what they are and what they look like and compare it to your sisters.
