Steve,
Recieved my Amiracle last week. I haven't set it all up yet because I just received my pump today. I did notice that the connector sent w/ the Amiracle isn't a true bulkhead connector but just some male and female 1'' threaded connections w/ some O rings. I'm a little worried about it sealing well especially since you've been having some problems.

Did you have any more trouble w/ your Amiracle overflows?
I tried for hours to get mine to quit leaking without any luck. I went to a plastic fab wearhouse today and puchase a true bulkhead fitting. I would warn anyone who purchases one of these to be prepaired to get a bulkhead connector. The set up they send w/ the overflow is rinky dink at best and I couldn't get mine to quit leaking at all.

I finally got mine to stop leaking but it took a while. I'm probably going to get a true bulkhead fitting because I'm afraid it is going to start leaking again.

Thanks bigtime and steve. I'm really glad you like the overflow bigtime! Did I remember to tell you all about the true bulkhead our overflow has too
lol... There's a decent picture of it on our website. I'm not real familiar with the amiracle overflow, after a few dud overflows- one about a foot high that would only do about 300gph among others, I decided to go make one myself :happy:, which is how aquacrylics started. Jason also makes a good point though and I would encourage anyone interested to make their own; its trial and error at first and can end up being frustrating and expensive, especially without the proper tools, but its extremely rewarding in the end.
